REOPENING PHASE 1 : IF YOU HAVE A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT:

Beginning Friday, October 1st, these

guidelines will go into effect as we will be

re-opening to the public! 🙂

Basic Guidelines for Phase 1:

● 1 person may accompany 1 pet into the hospital.

● All persons must wear a mask (covering their mouth & nose).

● If you have tested POSITIVE for COVID within the past 10 days, your pet may

still come in for their appointment - they will need a negative party who has not

been exposed in order to do so.

● If you have a fever, respiratory, or digestive issues, we ask that you please

reschedule your appointment or find other transportation with an unaffected

individual for your pet.

Step 1 Confirm your appointment - you will receive a reminder by text, phone call,

and/or email the day before your scheduled appointment.

If you do not confirm, your appointment will be canceled.

Step 2 Please arrive a few minutes early and call us to let us know you’re here. If

you don’t call, we may not know you’re here. We will bring some paperwork

out to you that will contain a curbside questionnaire +/- a new

client/patient form. The curbside questionnaire will need to be filled out

prior to every visit, every time.

Step 3 Once your appointment is prepped and ready on the inside, we will come

outside to get you and your pet. You will need to be escorted in and out of

the clinic.

Step 4 If your pet needs any medications, we will happily bring them to the exam

room and explain them to you there. If you have any questions or concerns

regarding that day's visit or the medications being prescribed, please let us

know during this time. Otherwise, you can reach out after you’re home.

Please know that this process will take us a few days to adapt and, unfortunately, will

more than likely cause us delays at some points during the day.

We are working our hardest and quickest without compromising our quality of care.

IF YOU HAVE A SCHEDULED SURGERY APPOINTMENT:

Beginning Friday, October 1st, these guidelines will go into effect

as we will be re-opening to the public! 🙂

Basic Guidelines for Phase 1:

● 1 person may accompany 1 pet into the hospital.

● All persons must wear a mask (covering their mouth & nose).

● If you have tested POSITIVE for COVID within the past 10 days, your pet may still come

in for their appointment - they will need a negative party who has not been exposed in

order to do so.

● If you have a fever, respiratory, or digestive issues, we ask that you please reschedule

your appointment or find other transportation with an unaffected individual for your pet.

Please have your pet secured by a slip leash, harness, or in a carrier. If you do not have one, one

will be provided.

We will escort surgeries into the building one at a time, in the order they arrived.

Step 1 Confirm your appointment - you will receive a reminder by text, phone call, and/or

email the day before your scheduled appointment.

If you do not confirm, your appointment will be canceled.

Step 2 Please arrive and plan on spending approximately 30-40 minutes here with us. Call

us to let us know you’re here. If you don’t call, we may not know you’re here. We

will bring some paperwork out to you that will contain a curbside questionnaire

+/- a new client/patient form. The curbside questionnaire will need to be filled out

prior to every visit, every time.

Step 3 Once the paperwork is finished, we will come outside to get you and your pet. At

this time, the surgery nurse (which is only 1 person per surgery day) will go over

the necessary paperwork and risks. This is the time you need to ask any and all

questions and concerns you have regarding your pets surgery today.

You will need to be escorted in and out of the clinic.

Step 4 We like to keep in touch with you before, during, & after the procedure. This is

done through our texting app, PetDesk, and you do not need to have the app

downloaded to receive our SMS messages. After the surgery is completed and the

pet is beginning to recover, we will give you a time to pick-up.

Step 5 Return at your appointed time to pick up your pet. Once more, please call or text us

from your vehicle when you arrive. One of us will escort you into the clinic and the

surgery nurse will arrive with your pet and discharge instructions..

We know that this process will be more time involved, especially during the busier times of the day. We know that this pandemic has made every factor in life more difficult - but please know that we are doing our best to keep our staff safe so we can continue to be here for you and your pets. We appreciate your kindness and understanding during this time.
